This web page contains vehicle models from the Battle for Kharkov 1943. All are based on actual photographs from the battle. The vehicles so far are plastic 1/76th and 1/72nd scale kits from Fujimi, Revell, Matchbox, and Hasegawa. I had to perform a few modifications to get the vehicle versions that participated in the battle.

There are two excellent books for photographs and info on the battle:

The Battle of Kharkov Winter 1942-1943 by Jean Restayn
Last Victory in Russia: The SS_Panzerkorps and Manstein's Kharkov Counteroffensive February-March 1943 by George M. Nipe Jr.

Both books are available through J.J. Fedorowicz Publishing Inc . My models are based on the vehicle photographs found in these books. Kit types are listed in the descriptions beside each corresponding image set.

NOTE: The previous photographs on this page are being replaced by the following images taken with my Nikon CoolPix 4500 digital camera. Each thumbnail image below is linked to a page dedicated to that model. Thumbnails are 160 X 120 pixels and roughly 5K in size. Large images are 800 X 600 pixels and roughly 100K in size. I am experimenting with reducing this to around 50K to save space and download time while maintaining a decent looking picture.
